RFID-Systems

The certus Warensicherungs-Systeme GmbH is specialised in the development of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) writing and reading systems. The devices can get used as pure RFID Systems or in combination with the proofed certus EM-Systems.

RFID is a technology based on radio waves allowing a touch less data transfer. The data from tagged objects can get read and written automatically, even when they are moving.

The storage of the data is done in the so called "Transponder" respectively "Tag" which is stuck onto the object to be identified. The "Tag" itself consists of an antenna and an electronic allowing storing data.

Further on is needed an reader antenna, a driving Electronic (RFID Reader) and a PC with a special software running.

The RFID Technology provides a lot of advantages compared to conventional capturing of data:

• No intervisibility needed
• Transponders available with different dimensions/properties
• Product integration possible
• Free choose able writing/reading of the Transponder
• Quick multiple Tag/Data reading
• Usage possible in combination with EM EAS Systems
